Microsoft Advertising has recently decided to stop handing trademark disputes for keywords. This means that you can now bid on trademark keywords across Bing and Yahoo without fear of reprisal. You still cannot use trademarked terms within your ad copy itself, but that is in line with Google’s policy and the rest of the search industry.
Right now is a great opportunity for affiliates to jump on board with these new keywords and get some cheap clicks and targeted traffic to similar products & services! For example, if you are promoting an insurance quote offer, you could go bid on “geico”, “progressive”, “farmers”, “allstate”, etc.
These will get competitive very soon, but there’s always a little lag time before they get filled up. Go make some money!
