Due to our continued growth this year, we are looking to bring on four more Affiliate Managers to handle the influx of affiliates. This is a full-time in-house position at our offices in Denver, Colorado. No telecommuting or outside positions will be considered.

What does it take to work at GetAds? A large amount of motivation. Prior industry knowledge is not a requirement. We can teach you the business, but we can’t give you the desire to succeed. Excellent communication skills via telephone, email, and instant messages are required. Strong analytical abilities are a plus, and prior sales experience will help you achieve success faster.

A promotion for Mike Guida has been a long time coming, and today we would like to announce that he has been promoted to Director of Affiliate Marketing. Mike’s dedication to excellence and constant hunger for success has allowed him to achieve some remarkable things as Sr. Affiliate Manager, and we are looking forward to seeing what he can accomplish next with his new position.

I asked Mike to share a little bit of what makes him tick.

What is the #1 thing you have learned from working at GetAds?

Mike: That the relationship is everything.

What are you most proud of in your career so far?

Mike: Being Employee of the Year.

What advice could you give to someone just starting out in the industry?

Mike: Remember, you only have one reputation.

What are you going to do to celebrate your promotion?

Mike: I’m getting a Bentley.

As usual, we sent our team over to the City by the Bay for Ad-Tech San Francisco 2011. This was the first time that we have ever exhibited at an Ad-Tech, so I had a few questions for a couple of our team members that took the trip. Here is what Beau and Cassandra had to say.

Cassandra, this was your first show with GetAds, so what did you think overall? And was it larger or smaller than you thought it would be?

Cassandra: It was a great experience overall, the rest of the team gave me an idea of what to expect so there weren’t any surprises. The show was slightly larger than I thought it would be.

Beau, how did you like this show compared to Affiliate Summit West 2011?

Beau: It was a great show for meeting with current clients, it was a lot of fun to catch up and see the people you talk to on a daily basis face to face. Compared to ASW11, our location wasn’t nearly as good.
